U to pi a
[[yoo-toh-pee-uh]]

An ideal place or state of mind, visionary system of political or social perfection, an imaginary island described in Sir Thomas More’s Utopia (1516) as enjoying perfection in law, politcs, etc.

Late last year I found myself in a place where familiar comforts of everyday routine (known as a 9-5) became far more afflictive than the risk it would take to step into the unknown of those creating their dream, thus reality.

Anyone who is LTD (Living The Dream) will tell you, it aint for the faint hearted. No two days are the same, the demands a dream has on you are at times suffocating. This walk is unrehearsed, the strides unpredictable yet the pulse is propelled by the vehement determination to give birth to a dream. No matter how prepared you are, once in it you will soon realise how unprepared you REALLY are. But the conviction to see to fruition that which you see with the eyes of your heart is like a drug . The pain ephemeral. The rewards like the ultimate high. And for that…We keep chasing

So the red carpet has been rolled out as we welcome you to our Utopia. Where dreams aren’t just visited in our sleep or a mere figment, where vision pre-cedes possession, failure is not an option, foundations are laid, legacies built. Where we cry, sweat, love, pursue, choose, claim, challenge, fear, salute, celebrate and confront our dreams. Where no injury can stop us because the only ones who bear no pain are the spectators.

A friend of mine always says “Dreams aren’t cheap”…BUT they are every bit attainable.

I Embrace You
M.
